Soup and the Wildest Places: Prince William Sound, Alaska

Date

Friday, December 14, 2018 -
12:00pm to 1:30pm

With Teacher Naturalist Doug Lowry.

One way to stay in touch with the wildest places in the colder months is to cozy up with a bowl of soup and homemade bread to celebrate nature in the comfort of our program room. Join us to enjoy stories, photos, and journal entries from Prince William Sound. While it’s a popular cruise destination for good reason, we will discover its wonders from a sea kayak. Doug has paddled thousands of miles throughout this area over twenty years of expeditions. Tidewater glaciers, orcas, bogs, bears, and salmon will be some of the highlights, along with a serving of fish chowder and biscuits – yum!
