Transforming Awareness Into Action
Is it Me... Or is the Weather Kind of Weird?
A three part conversation on climate change sponsored by Manomet, Mass Audubon, and Wildlands Trust
Are you feeling the heat (not to mention the more frequent storm events, rising sea levels, and flooding) of global climate change? Not quite sure what to make of the environmental changes you see in your backyard? Mass Audubon, Wildlands Trust, and Manomet are joining together to offer a three part series to get the conversation about climate change started!
Each event will begin with a short presentation, followed by questions and conversation with a professional in the field:
April 22: The Psychology of Climate Anxiety - Dr. Jacob Nota of Harvard Medical School (McLean Hospital).
May 20: Climate Science and Solutions - Eric Walberg, AICP, Senior Program Leader, Climate Services at Manomet
June 24: Transforming Awareness into Action - Alexandra Vecchio, Mass Audubon Climate Change Program Coordinator
Join us for just one or all three sessions. All sessions begin at 7pm at the Wildlands Trust Conservation Barn at 675 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth, MA.
These events are free and open to all. Light refreshments will be provided.
