Wildlands Trust - Birding Day Trip, May 12th
Spring is here, and that means our feathered friends are returning from their wintering grounds! Join us for a full-day birding adventure around the South Shore with birder and naturalist Jim Sweeney to catch a glimpse of some of the fascinating bird species the use our area as their breeding grounds or as a resting point on their way north. Light breakfast provided. Rain date Sunday, May 20.
Tickets must be purchased here in advance - space is limited to ten participants.
Meet at Wildlands Trust, 675 Long Pond Rd., no later than 7 am. From here, we'll provide shuttles to the many different areas we'll visit around the South Shore. Weather conditions will dictate our exact locations (coastal vs. inland). We'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch midday, so don't forget your lunch money! Please bring water and feel free to bring any snacks.
